Michael Kakoyiannis President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Michael Kakoyiannis comes to his position at NCI Mobility with more than 25 years of experience in broadcast media operations. Kakoyiannis’ specialties include operating and monetizing media operations, managing sales and marketing, contract negotiations, turnaround strategy and implementation, and corporate acquisition planning and execution.
Kakoyiannis has held senior executive-level positions in both the broadcasting and digital technology industries, including stints at ROO, Sirius Satellite Radio, Stellar Networks, and Big City Radio, Inc., which he founded.
He is a former Executive Vice President of the Westwood One Stations Group, and former Vice President and General Manager of the Westwood One stations in Los Angeles (KQLZ known as "Pirate Radio") and New York (WNEW-AM and WYNY-FM). He was also an Executive Vice President at Metropolitan/ Metromedia Broadcasting and has experience in marketing management for corporate clients, such CBS and Procter & Gamble.
A native New Yorker, Kakoyiannis is a graduate of the City University of New York. He has an M.B.A. from Pace University.
